Currently i live in Quebec, however i am searching for a place in Ontario to live and cancel my lease here in Quebec. I do own a business in Quebec, but the commute is one hour . It also would be much easier for my husband to find a job outside of quebec. Can i apply without quebec to be involved? Nothing but my business is holding me in this Province and i would not want husband having to deal with the Politics and the french language and what to us is language racism who live here,

My husband and i want to be together on our birthdays here in Canada in june since our wedding aniverary is in july and i can not do both. Should i apply for the visitors visa first or the Residency, However we are not 100% sure if we will be living here in Canada or in europe since i am german Citizen and he can obtain his Spanish citizenship through ancestor Rule spain has .
Apply for PR first. Wait for AOR and then apply for the TRV. I assume you are a Canadian citizen. For the PR application to be approved, you will need to provide evidence that you plan to relocate to Canada permanently once PR is approved.
You can apply without involving the Quebec process if your primary address is in Ontario. So you would need to move first and then apply.
Our birthdays are in June . I am a permanent resident but we are not even sure if we want to live in Canada.. and this trip will be the decision one, so why spend money for residency if he doesn't like it here
It sounds like you are currently living in Canada. If that the case, then you are good to submit the sponsorship application. If you were outside of Canada, then you would need to be a citizen to sponsor.
I'm not sure what your birthdays have to do with anything.
He can try to apply for TRV if you are not sure if you and him want to live in Canada. (As a PR, if you choose to leave before you become a citizen, you will not be able to meet your RO and may eventually lost your PR status)
You can "invite" him to visit.
But your husband needs to show strong tie with his home country, strong financial and proof of returning after the short visit.
It's not easy to show strong tie since his family (you, his wife) is in canada.
BTW if you only want him to apply for TRV, this is NOT sponsorship. Take a look at the visitor section and see how people apply for vistior visa.
There is no "sponsorship" for visitor visa. Also, if you are not looking at sponsorship (applying PR for your husband) then living in Quebec or Ontario won't make much difference.
I really don't care if i loose Canadian residency I am German so much better. And I know it doesn't fall under sponsorship but when I tried to post again it automatically went there . Canada let Mexicans in for years without a visa and most.of them stayed claimed refugee status , and there is a person who want to visit from Cuba and they make a big fuss like.this place is so good
maybe that's why Mexicans now need to apply TRV as well.
Showing money is impossible in Cuba because many have no bank accounts because they do not trust and I pay for everything and he has 3 credit cards and 1000 in cash , Cuba doesn't give foreign currency I a bank
Canada has a large trade agreement with Mexico and economy is significantly larger than Cuba. The chances of Cuban visitors remaining in Canada is much higher than Mexican citizen. This is why it is harder to visit from Cuba. It’s impossible to know whether he will get a TRV but it will likely be quite difficult given current economy in Cuba. No harm in trying. He can also apply for a Schengen visa.
Yeah well Cuba is good enough for a cheap vacation well of not than it tells me that this country is not even worth it to apply for residency, and for me to pay taxes here . After all we are legally married and if Canada does not. Wouldn’t consider Russia or Nicaragua countries where citizenship is very desirable especially at the moment. Also not countries that provide support or rights to newcomers or asylum seekers like Canada does. You can sponsor your spouse to come to Canada which is residency but allowing people to visit before they get status is different. This is not limited to Cuba. Up to very recently almost all spouses of PRs and citizens were not granted TRVs. They needed to wait until they were sponsored before they could come to Canada. Would imagine your spouse will also struggle to get a visa to go to Germany as well. It was always difficult to get visas as a Cuban except to other communist countries or previous communist countries that still had relationships with Cuba but give the current state of the economy in Cuba there has been an even larger number of people leaving Cuba and mostly claiming asylum so it will more difficult for Cubans to secure visas because this. It is not limited to Canada. There are even less Canadian tourists visiting Cuba because of the economy and difficult accessing goods for hotels. You should certainly try to secure a TRV but would not plan anything until you know the outcome of the application. If you are planning on returning to Germany he can also apply for a Schengen visa through Germany as well.
He is not sure if he wants to live in Canada what is so hard to understand, he ;loves Cuba and it took me 8 month to finally convince him to even to consider to visit me here. so whjy apply for residency and waste money. Canadains really think this is such a great country just like the the americans. To germany he would be getting a Visa due to the fact that i live in Canada and not in Germany and i have a business here. but again only tiotally negativity against people from other countries, Specially the poorer ones. And they turn me down than it is just to make money , thats so typical for canada,
