He is from Mexico, and his asylum process was not accepted. He is leaving Canada Soon.

However, his company is willing to sponsor him for a work permit.

Before leaving Canada, what does he need from his company to apply for a work permit when he returns to Canada.

Ok. Believe Canada just announced that Mexicans require visas to enter Canada. So would need TRV or apply for work permit from Mexico.

His employer needs to obtain an LMIA. Then her can apply for a closed WP. He can not counter time working while in Canada and applying for asylum towards any applications since he did not have status.
