Hi Ashan,
I would recommend to do the Online Application as it has internal check if any information is missing or overlapped.
It has although Physical Presence Calculator built in, so you don't need to do the calculations manually.
1) Tax documents: you need to file at least 3 out of 5. I don't remember uploading the NOA but you give them consent to check CRA
2) The online application is showing you what ID is accepted, but Generally, I uploaded, Passport, PR, DL
3)English Test: yes this is true, you can even use your previous IELTS, there is no expiry for it

4) Citizenship test, You have to read Discover Canada at least once, then practice as much as possible for exams & questions.
5) Police report if you lived outside Canada for more than 183 yes, inside Canada you can't do it until you receive official email with Fingerprint Request. Inside Canada can't be done by anyway in Advance
6) I have no clue about Work permit as i have came as PR
