NEED ADVICE： get stuck with biometrics for 3 months

Hi everyone,

I received ITA in July and have AOR done in mid August as ee - outlander.

medical exam was passed on 09/07 then biometrics letter was issued on the same day.

We did our biometrics in late September and my tracker shows that as of today (3 months from biometric collection date), biometric is still in progress. Eligibility and Background not started. It has been almost 5 months since AOR.

The operator at VFS center told me that my fingerprint quality might not be satisfying and i might receive a recollection letter for biometric, yet I haven't received anything yet.

Any advice on a similar situation?

I inquired IRCC on web form in last November and December, asking if it is possible to redo my fingerprint.

In fact, they sent me another biometric instruction letter (BIL) in early March and in the mean time, they completed my eligibility.

I did my fingerprint last week and it was marked completed. Now I am waiting for backgrounc check to be marked as completed.

I talked with a couple of friends who encountered a similar issue, some of us got a second BIL and others waited for 4 - 5 months then every component of tracker was clear. My case is more like the first one.

i got AOR on 16 Jan, 2024 for my PR application received by ircc on 11 Dec, 2023
but till now no Biometric and Medical letters...i also received email the file is pending review by officer.
i think my file is stuck now it will be long waiting period.....any update
