Hello Everyone,
We just got an update that LPP was completed on Feb 15. How long do we have to wait until we get our oath ceremony date? We are planning on calling CIC on Tuesday. Any insight will be appreciated.

Hello. We initially e-mailed them back and explained that we would be travelling shortly after our ceremony and would not be able to get the ecertificate nor the passport on time. We got a very generic answer at first, asking to submit a request to reschedule. We wrote a letter, explaining we will be away on vacation and our return date. We also attached a copy of our ticket.

We received a response back after 24 hours, stating that we don't qualify for reschedulling but they will exceptionally reschedule upon our return. They also stated that a final notice to appear will be issued. We are yet to receive same. We are hopping we won't have to wait months for a new date.

I would sugest you write a letter, with detailed explanation.

They replied on Friday as stated earlier. They said we will receive a new date and a final Notice to Appeal. Will probably take a few weeks now.

Hi all,

I had a virtual oath scheduled today from Niagara office at 8.15 AM EST and kept waiting on the meeting and I am not let in till now. Does anyone know what to do in this case. I sent an email to them but haven’t heard back or let into oath yet.

You have no choice other than waiting. Heard that they will do atleast 200 to 300 oath’s in a day.
