Does my job offer qualify for PR?

Hi all

I finished my M.Sc. degree from a university not too long ago and am on PGWP valid for 3 years. It's a terrible, slow job market but I was able to get a contract offer from a company for 1 year (March 4 to Feb 28th of next year, 361 total days). They expect a standard 37.5 hour work week and I will be paid at an hourly rate with payments made to my bank bi-weekly. I have accepted this offer.

Assume that I don't have strong knowledge of the whole PR process yet. I was able to clarify with HR that I will be getting a T4. What else should I ask to know if this can contribute towards PR? Or does it?

Thanks

As long as the work is TEER 0-3 then you are good to count it as Canadian experience. It doesn’t count as a “job offer” for extra points as you are on a PGWP.

Thanks, I meant to say - does my job count towards PR. So even if it's a contract employment, I can use it for any stream towards PR?
