Can I continue working on SOWP till it's valid even though my spouse(On Closed Work Permit) needs to go back?

I have an Open Work Permit which is valid till the end of this year and dependent on my spouse. My Spouse(who is on Closed Work Permit) needs go back due to project ramp-down, can I still be in Canada and continue working?

When did your spouse come to Canada and when did he leave and on what permit? When did you come to Canada and when did you get a SOWP and when did you start working? Based on previous posts it looks like you were recently out of Canada for multiple months. These answers impact the answer.

We both came to Canada in April last year. My spouse is on closed work permit and I'm on open work permit. I started working after a week of landing in Canada and have not gone out of Canada since then.

There was no one who worked from outside of Canada. I was just asking what if that situation happens.
