Hello everyone,

I am currently in the process of applying for a Canada Permanent Residency (PR) visa and have encountered a situation that has left me with some concerns. I am reaching out to seek advice and insights from those who may have experienced similar circumstances or possess relevant knowledge.

Here's a brief overview of my situation:

I previously applied for a New Zealand visa and, unfortunately, during the application process, I submitted a fake property certificate. When immigration authorities requested supporting documents, I found myself unable to provide genuine materials and, consequently, withdrew my application. I understand the gravity of this action, and I have learned from my mistake.

Now, having received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the Canada PR visa, I am concerned about the potential impact of my previous New Zealand visa withdrawal. I am aware that immigration records and data may be shared between countries, and this has prompted me to seek advice on how this could affect my current application for Canada PR.

My questions are as follows:

  1. Does anyone have experience or knowledge about the sharing of immigration records between New Zealand and Canada?
  2. What potential consequences could my withdrawal from the New Zealand visa application have on my Canada PR application?
  3. Are there any steps I can take to address this issue proactively?
I genuinely appreciate any guidance, experiences, or insights that members of this community may be able to share. I understand the importance of transparency and honesty in the immigration process and am committed to navigating this situation with integrity.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance.

The “ Five Eyes “ are involved so assume Canada has access to what transpired with New Zealand
