I am still waiting for IRCC to ask for my passport application lodged on the 22nd of dec2023, biometric done on the 29th dec2023, upfront medical, however I have seen people who did theirs this year gotten ppr. I am only anxious. My portal is still showing processing. I hope all is well.

I got PPR last week (Canada PR). I’m currently in Nigeria and would like to send my passport directly to VFS Nairobi as I’ve been told it’s faster.
I wonder if there’s any Nigerian here that might sent theirs to Kenya.
Did you pay your transmission fee in Naira or Kenya Shillings?
What other documents did you include?

please can I chat with you in privateWhen did you apply? Did you apply as a single? Do you need a medical? Processing is at least 9-10 weeks. Depending where you live, you can wait months. Ask further questions under International Students.

I have done my re-medical on 23 November, 2024 on spouse visa and want to know after medical how much time IRCC is taking for either passport request or any update on file ? As of now many problems are going on in canada so whether spouse visa has affected or not ?
