Is GIC statment valid as "Proof of funds" document?

Hello everyone!
I am applying for a Humanitarian programme where one of the requested fields is "Proof of funds". I found the numbers about expected numbers here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html
where it says that for an application family of 2, it is expected to be a min: of 17,127 CAD, however, it doesn't describe what document am I supposed to attach.
So, I attached my GIC account statement.
The question is - is a GIC statement valid as a "Proof of funds" document?

What program are you applying for because the link you posted is for Express Entry?
