Just going to ask for three weeks and then wait for result.

All she can do is apply with as much documentation to prove funds, reasons to return and travel history and see what happens. She may be approved.

Doesn't hurt to apply, maximum it's 185 CAD but you would have peace of mind that you did !

You never know it might just work out since you know the worst case anyways is a refused visit visa which is not a big deal.

Can you provide more details regarding what documents you provided to IRCC? I want to apply for my sister as well. We have a month old baby now and would love my sister to visit us. I am in the same boat, she doesn’t have any funds in bank account but I have funds n can bear all the related expenses.

Hi,
It's a game of luck to my experience.
Uploaded a bank fixed deposit for around 15k cad, her last three years job as a Head of department, Botany Professor.
I wrote to sponsor the trip, provided my details, job, bank, home, 4 wheelers etc.
Asked for two or three weeks to just meet her as its been 5 years.
Did not mention anything about our newborn.
