$85 refund from IRCC - but why??

Hi all,

Was pleasantly surprised to get a cheque in the mail today for $85! I'm certainly not complaining, just curious as to what it might be for. It just says on the details: "IRCC Refund - 9700"

I successfully applied for TRV's for my in-laws in November, paying $370 total for that in November, so maybe has something to do with that?

Anyone get something similar?

Yes, it has to do with your TRV applications.

Looks like one of them did not need biometrics thats why it was refunded
