Closed Work Permit for SINP Nominee

Hello, I am currently holding a PGWP that expires March 16, 2024. I just received a provincial nomination from the SINP, however there are restrictions on employment, which means I am not eligible to apply for a BOWP. I need to apply for a closed work permit to continue working after March 16, 2024, and my concern is, I’m not sure whether or not my job offer is LMIA exempt. I don’t want to apply for the work permit then it’s refused, forcing me to stop working and wait for PR confirmation. I’m also seeing things online where provincial nominees may not be required to have LMIA to get a work permit. If you have suggestions or insight, please assist. Thank you!

Apply for PR right away, once your application is in process, after submitting a week or so, call IRCC and tell them the same thing, try avoiding lawyers, they will show you the right way to continue working.

You may be able to get interim work visa.
