No. IRCC reviews independently. It's very possible to be approved by the province and refused by IRCC. This is not uncommon.

Now I found out that I was having usa visitor visa rejection back in 2015 and i forgot about that because it was my parent who applied as primary applicant and since I was minor and didn't mentioned in previous applications.. Now last year november 2023 I got second usa visitor visa rejection . So I was searching few days back on internet and I found out that we had to compulsory include all rejection in the application. So now I will include my recent rejection but how can i correct my mistake by adding my old rejection. So can you help me what to do in such scenario and how to save my pgwp from getting affected?

It is basically always better to disclose such things yourself BEFORE IRCC finds out on their own.

Disclose the previous one with a short letter of explanation, as many FACTS as you can. Explanation is that you were not aware of previous rejection because you were a minor and they applied for you.

I cannot say 100% but likely not, since you were a minor it was likely also generic reason.

Thanks for response. Also, next month my parents is Appling for visitor visa and they will mentioned about the rejection they got. So, I am going to invite them and that's why I am going to provide my information also. So will they see whether I mentioned about that refusal in my application?

Unlikely OP will post anything in this thread, but maybe some of other folks made the same mistake as OP? If so - how did you resolve it? I almost in the same situation as OP and don’t know what to do…

We realized that we committed a misrepresentation in our permanent residence application. PR was approved and we are now in Canada. The misrepresentation was not willful but at the same time it cannot be termed as innocent. The final decision on our PR application, in terms of its approval, may or may not have been affected due to this misrepresentation. But the process of PR application could have been affected. Had we been open about the facts, certain additional checks could have been carried out by IRCC which they could not due to the misrepresentation. It will be difficult to justify the misrepresentation as innocent if we are ever caught. We have contacted immigration lawyers and they have categorized this as misrepresentation though they won’t advise any more further. Misrepresentation occurred in the first place because of recklessness, not being aware of consequences. Nothing willful but not innocent also. Somewhere in between.

We have now decided to leave Canada because of this misrepresentation as future of our children life can be affected, meaning they could be stripped of citizenship after they got used to life in Canada or have to fight lengthy court battles, if this is ever caught. We are not citizens yet.

Is it a wise decision to leave Canada after so much of effort? Or, put up with this hoping that this won’t be caught in future and continue leading the best life Canada has to offer. What are the possibilities of being caught? As we understood from lawyers, interpretation for misrepresentation once it occurred is very narrow and no clemency is possible and action can be taken by IRCC years later if found.

Please provide serious opinion/advise on this based on your best assessment and experience with Canadian immigration. No jokes please.

So have you be able to resolve it with a lawyer misrepresentation is now something Canada immigration use for everything even though bill c6 tabled bill c 24 they still us it many people just here for better life they not jahidist I have seen someone so many people as misrepresentation because of how difficult and racist the system is but keep collecting people's money if someone as spent so much what else can he do not justifying misrepresentation but if that person is not here from terrorist act why not fine him 20 or 30 and ask for is full document this time no lies than deport
