hello, I got my eCoPR today and my common law partner is in India, her PR application is with the Delhi VO and her application was submitted the same time as mine in February 2022.
No updates about her application at all. When I call IRCC they say they dont have any info other than it is with Delhi VO, and I sent Delhi VO many emails and webforms and no update from them.
Does anyone have any experience with DELHI VO of the processing time is or what the next steps will be for my partner?

my husband applied permanent in July 2021 my husband is main applicant he got 2nd portal 10 jan 2024 and he send the photo ,
When does the process of processing my family outside of Canada begin and do they start requesting documents from them? When I contacted them, they said that their file begins with the letter G000, and what is the time period for obtaining a residence card now?

As you mention your husband is the primary applicant and he received 2nd portal photo request, and he applied in 2021 so if I am not wrong IRCC already asked all the documents including prof of marriage and birth certificate and form. Is it right ?

No need to contact MP. There is nothing they can do and will tell person to wait for normal processing.

Once you receive PR processing for any dependents start. It still can be many months for your spouse to get COPR.

the process is in the starting main application get the CSQ and at that time applicant mention the names of the family members. so while processing application IRCC contact applicant to submit the family CSQ, with that email you have to contact Certificat de selection du quebec and let them know that IRCC is asking for it so please issue it ASAP.
for the medical it depend case to case in some cases biometric and medical came togther in some cases when they are done with paper work they sent the request at the end.

@razrazanan CSQ will not be processed urgently this is a standard application. IRCC is aware of CSQ processing times so application will be processed normally and once CSQ is issued processing will continue.

Thank you! On my GCMS notes it shows the file was transferred to V/O Delhi on 2023/09/05.
I have not requested notes for her application, thanks for suggesting that I will likely do it soon.

I think they’ll ask your husband to submit files like police and marriage certificates then they’ll request medicals again

It’s already done last year my question is they ask for the spouse medical and biometric February 2023, and there is no requirement left but whenever I ask for the file they said you are the primary applicant so when you get your confirmation then your spouse file further process so the question is their medical was done in February 2023 did they ask for another one ??? I am not sure I heard overseas medical is valid for 1 year

It is only valid for a year so they can ask for it to be repeated or chose to waive the requirement. It is up to the VO. Their COPR is typically valid for one year from the day of the medical so having to redo the medical is not always a bad thing.

CSQ timeline is 2 to 3 month currently you can go to the website and check currently which month is under process.
