MPs can only enquire about your situation and will or have influence on your file. If you are in Canada then the argument that you need faster processing because of the situation in Gaza justified. If you get a removal order then your lawyer or you can use the situation in Gaza but while in Canada the argument isn’t the same.

I called IRCC yesterday, the agent said “everything looks good” & he hopes I get what I want.. I asked those questions as per your reply & he said “just wait to receive communication from the officer about their decision or when it goes to the next division(idk what he meant by that) I called and got a different agent this morning, she didn’t tell me much, except my background is still in progress & the application is still within processing times.
Both agents were vague, it makes me worried they haven’t started processing my file and it’s almost 1 year.

IRCC customer service has access to limited information in general so they can’t provide you with much information. Very minimal processing happens until 12-15 months.

Hi, I applied for TRP November last year, it was approved today, but I have been given a remover date for next month, please is this a positive sign that my H&C will be approve soon? My H&C is 16 months now, no AIP yet.

Getting approved for TRP is unrelated to H&C approval/refusal.
