"Thank you for contacting the U.S. Consulate General in Toronto. As noted in the instructions, the process takes between 4 and 6 weeks to be completed once we have received your application. You will receive an email when your passport is ready for delivery."

My best hope is that they will issue it within next week after MLK Day... But you never know.

We had international travel yesterday and we postponed our trip by 2 weeks. Let me know if u decide to withdraw and how the process was.

I literally checked every hour for the past few days... Sorry to put more stress on you. My guess is that you should have something moved within tomorrow because you submitted yours only a day after I did.

Please don't be sorry. This gives us a little hope that things are moving. Fingers crossed. Please keep me posted about issue and dispatch timeline

I will.

What a stressful process. I always know that we should not expect anything fast / convenient here but I guess many of us were overly optimistic given past experience with US visa renewal...

I agree. We have been so stressed because it's my brother's wedding and me and my mom are stuck here coz of the passport issue. I really hope things move tomorrow.

My status is changed to "Issued" but no email yet that it is released for shipping.
