Why does tracker and GC key contradict each other.

In my GC key:
Eligibility - We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements


But in tracker, it is showing "Not Started".

In GC key,
Background verification - We will send you a message when we start your background check.

But in tracker, it is in progress.

Just had a ghost update in the GC. Nothing shows new, everything is the same with before.
But tracker didn't update any information.

I made an account on tracker today and it says that my eligibility is not started. Is it possible that IRCC has already checked for eligibility but hasn't updated the tracker? Especially considering that they are sending BILs after three months for FSWs-O. Have you heard of such a case?

Especially considering that they are sending BILs after three months for FSWs-O. Have you heard of such a case?

In my own case, when I got my RFV:
1. Eligibility and background check wasn't started on tracker
2. No CoPR number on tracker
3. No final decision on GCKey
4. Everything was in-progress in GCkey

So, it is entirely possible for tracker to lag days.

With that being said, IRCC can process both eligibility and background check as fast as one day too. So, let's say even if they've not started working on your eligibility and background check yet, it is always possible that you can be processed faster.
