Did you create two separate demand drafts or just one?

just one draft after confirming with BLs , when you call they will always ask which jurisdiction which gives slight confidence that they know what they are telling

I applied for my son Oci application who is a minor.I applied on 18th November when Consulate hosted a camp in Saskatchewan.
The Consulate officers were from Vancouver office.

I have flight tickets booked for Feb 6.
Not sure to wait for current OCI application or apply for Evisa.

It may come just in time. End of Jan it might get processed and a week for delivery after that. You can wait till till 1st Feb and see how things are going. Evisa comes within 24 hrs.

I was on call with bls and they mentioned that pickup drop off not working and you have to call us to schedule.
Because I was already on call with them, I scheduled it.
$84 both ways.
Call them to scheudle

How to get connected to them.. tried multiple times in last 2 days and nobody is connected.. not able to find appointment.. was thinking to apply as postal this weekend but suddenly online postal links stopped working two days ago..
Earlier it was $26+taxes. So total was around $60 both ways.. so it's steep increase of $24 directly... but even if fine to pay increased one but can't chase phone agent everyday to connect.

1. ISD Code for Phone / Mobile Number - I have added +1 -- Is this okay?
2. Address for relatives - Will the short form for State work? Like UP ? Do I need to add India ? I am writing like -- House Number / Area / City / PIN ...
3. Address for Employer - I have written exactly same as one on letter. On my employment letter it says Ontario (not ON). But on DL it is short one ON. ?

I saw one of the post who got OCI card on 04 Jan, 2024. (It processed 29 Dec and application date - 28 Oct). So, I think we have enough time.

my sons application also almost same time line 25 nov submitted and ack 21 dec in-person BLS Brampton- I am thinking we may get it by last week of January.

1. I used only 1 instead of +1
2. When you print, only 66 characters come. So you write everything that is needed.
3. I used ON

If the signatures are different on the Indian passport and Canadian passport, will the Canadian passport signature work on all Canadian documents for self-attestation? For the Indian passport can I do both signatures on the Indian passport copy?

would highly recommend having consistent signatures across both passports. Better call Bls and clarify to avoid getting application back for no reason. It’s annoying I understand
