Can we convert Visitor visa to Open work permit?

If your spouse in closed work permit and you visit them using visitor visa, can we apply for Open work permit via paper in canada based on spouse work permit?

Brilliant, I have a applied for a open work permit and it's in 5 weeks now, does this have any conflict with visitor visa ? Any idea on this ?

No conflict. If you applied within Canada then processing is 4-5 months. Assume you included spouse’s job letter and paystubs.

Applied outside Canada, pay stubs is not added but all other required documents attached it, current processing time is 12week for India I'm positive that they don't do within that. Visitor is just 31days that's what it was applied even though work visa is still in progress
