TRV for parents and 2 siblings (over 18)

Hi all,

I'm a Canadian citizen, and we recently had a baby (2 months old). I want to apply for TRV for my parents and 2 siblings (22 & 26 yrs).

- How would I go ahead applying for them? Do they each fill out the IMM 5257 form and go to a visa office / VFS?
- Is it possible for me to apply for them (as a group - if that is even possible)?

I've received advice about applying for parents separately and let the siblings apply themselves as it would make acceptance easier - is this true?

**Would it be easier if my wife applied for my parents, and I did for my siblings (to make things easier)?

22 & 26 year old are separate accounts and applications. Your parents are one account with two applications. Each show their own funds, travel history and ties to return (job letters with approved leave, school registration, business ownership, income properties). They will have no family ties to return to so ties to return must be strong. You can be their representative but it is still their own applications, and processed from home country. Who applies on their behalf makes no difference.

Thank you! That clears up a lot of confusion. One more question, when you say account, are you referring to an account on CIC (example, GC Key)? And is there no need to go to a visa processing centre (VFS) - alteast for application process?

Yes, brothers have own GCKey accounts. Parents can have one GCKey with separate application. They apply online.

I've got one final question - one of my siblings already has a GCKey profile as he is in the EE pool. Is it wise to apply for visit using that profile or should he create a new profile for TRV?

Not sure if he can create another new GCKey account.
