My Location is also E-Grant DF
But all stages in my application is completed, all marked Green except Oath not stated.
LPP Completed since October 20 and Oath not stated.
I personally do not think E-Grant DF means Decision Finalized.
Have you called to find out why your Ceremony process hasn't started? Is your application still within the timeline of 17 months?

I think the closest official explanation we have is from this post. There's also this theory where they say it might mean DeFerred but I think it is less likely. I personally think, it means decision finalized, but like the due dates in the notes, they just don't adhere to them. On the flipside, I too have E-Grant DF in my notes which is weird cuz my prohibitions are still in progress. So, who knows what it means? lol

Seems like Mississauga is taking its time now...not sure why they are delaying it. Is your application still within the 17 month timeframe?
Yeah, I applied in August 2023. I don't really mind waiting (unless it messes up with my travel plans), but I find it weird because people who applied around the same time as me got their LPP and their oath invites very shortly after and I just don't get what the hold up with my application is.

I had called them multiple times but they could not offer any explanation. My application was submitted in May, 2023 so they don't give a f--k about me though.

I think it is the DeFerred
DeFerred makes more sense.

I personally do not know what Location E-Grant DF means but its on my GCMS note.
I submitted my application in May, 2023
IRCC requested finger prints from me
My Background, Citizenship test and LPP all are completed October, 20
Oath is not Stated, therefore waiting for Oath since October, 20
My application primary office was Scarborough, then it was moved to Mississauga after my citizenship test.
Now primary office is Mississauga and secondary office is GTA-CEN IRCC (who know this address?)
I was a protected person and also had an RTD and I travelled with it once.
I think when you are pursuing citizenship as a protected person the application/processing is more scrutinized

Folks I am the one mentioned "DeFerred" please don't take me seriously , it's out of my frustration, I noticed I am waiting on "grant df" since Nov/2/2023 from ATIP maybe even before that , while everything completed green since Aug/22/2023? forget about I am August/2022 applicant I will be exceeding processing time in 10 days, so I had to call it "DeFerred"
but please be optimistic and think of it = decision finalized

oh jeez, have you submitted request for GCMS notes or contacted IRCC? i am curious if they have any notes updated internally that they can also share.

Yes I do every month at least once CBSA+IRCC , there is nothing changed just the location become grant df on November, every time I call IRCC they tell me I am none routine because of fingerprint request (regardless it's passed) , I basically gave up and will just forget about it until next year

I think I just have bad luck and I am kind of sure I will hit 20+ months and I might need to file A writ of mandamus, will see

Yes, I can help you with that. E-Grant DF stands for "Electronic Grant Document (DF Format)" in the context of IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) citizenship. It refers to the electronic version of the grant document that is issued to an individual after their application for Canadian citizenship is approved. Instead of receiving a physical copy, applicants receive the grant document electronically in a specific format called DF. This electronic document serves as proof of Canadian citizenship.
THIS IS AI GENERATED ANSWER TO WHAT E-GRANT DF MEANS AS IT RELATE TO IRCC CITIZENSHIP.

You might want to post this in the Toronto thread instead. This is for Mississauga.
