Hi, for those who applied for a Canadian passport, does anyone know whether Vancouver issues new passport design or the old one? Thanks!

At this point, i believe all provinces have switched to the new design

Thanks so much! Could you please also share how long would we be able to download the child's certificate after the oath, and whether we should do anything for the child's application after the oath ceremony? I understand that the child (under 14) is not required to submit the Oath Form, but in your experience will submitting the oath form for the child help make it process faster?

Congrats!! It's great that you were able to download the certificate on the same day! Were you able to download all of the applicants (including the child) on the same day as well?

It would be great if you could please share some experience / reminders on if there's anything we should do for minor's application after the oath ceremony (for adults it's just sending the oath form, but nothing is mentioned for the minor though).

They send you an email (instructions to download your electronic Canadian Citizenship Certificate (e-Certificate)
That email has a pdf attached... the code is in that file.

In the attachment I only see the instructions and portal link, I don't see any Invite Code?

Yes, we could download the three certificates on the same day.
We have an upcoming trip, so before the ceremony, during the review of the documentation with the official, she asked if we had travel plans, when we said yes, she said I will make a note so the clerk prioritizes you... we got the certificate 4 hours after the ceremony. My son is 17 yo, he took the oath and signed the form, so I don't know how is the process for minors under 14.
