I have been living in Saskatchewan for the last three years and my brother got an invite from SINP a month ago. I have all the documents one need except that I am not working in SK or even in Canada. I do however have a contract with a Middle East company. My question is, is it even worth to apply for and wait for 6 months for processing OR I should start looking for a job locally and then HOPE to get an invite again? The last year has been crazy with wars, Inflation, hiring freeze and there aren't many prospects in Regina at the moment. I can provide contract / Payment checks etc. but its all from overseas.
If one is not working locally, can they show bank account statements for sound financial standing?
Can I use my contract / payment checks to show that I am financially independent etc. ?
