Hello again,
My AIP says I will receive an email with medical forms. But previously the call centre said no medicals were needed. Do I just wait for the email still? Also how long after submitting the required documents does one usually get a final decision? Thanks in advance.

My first post here. Just want to show how these guys working. My timeline and the final letter from CIC. Kind of miracle. Do not understand one thing. Why did they push me to do all movements? Looks like to let someone earn money for my ME and PC for the whole family.

Could anybody with experience share MP"s address or phone number in Vancouver area? Want to make a visit.
  1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 20, 2017.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on December 5, 2017.
  3. We started processing your application on August 17, 2018.
  4. We sent you correspondence on March 7, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
  5. We sent you medical instructions on March 12, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  6. We sent you correspondence on March 29, 2019 about the decision on your application.
  7. Medical results have been received.
And this on Friday. When I got the letter there weren't number 6 and 7 it changed yesterday and did not have time to send PC.

This refers to your application for permanent residence from within Canada on humanitarian and compassionate
grounds.
Humanitarian and compassionate factors are assessed to determine whether an exemption from certain legislative
requirements to allow your application for permanent residence to be processed from within Canada will be granted.
On 29 March 2019, a representative of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration reviewed the circumstances of
your request and decided that an exemption will not be granted for your application.

The samething happened to me and my family back in 2019 we received medical instructions April 9th 2019 and the application was refused June 18th 2019. Thank God we are now permanent residents .

Is the refusal came from Vancouver office? Did you claim based on medical situation in your home country?

My application was based on hardship and BIOC.
I am really happy this long and hard journey is close to being over. Thank you all for all the tips posted over the years. It really helped me put my application together, in addition with having good legal representation.

Did you apply yourself or what organization did you use?

BIOC - Best interest of the child. I had a lawyer help me put the application together while I provided all supporting documents. No one knows your story and struggles more than you do, the lawyer can only advise at the end of the day. So don't just leave it up to the lawyer/immigration consultant. Do your own research and follow up everything being submitted for you
