Is the refusal came from Vancouver office? Did you claim based on medical situation in your home country? The samething happened to me and my family back in 2019 we received medical instructions April 9th 2019 and the application was refused June 18th 2019. Thank God we are now permanent residents .
Which office is issued AIP Vancouver or Niagara Falls?I got medical request for two of my family members before aip then aip came after with the medical instructions for the others. Nothing to worry. They may just want to make sure you guys are not medically inadmissible to Canada. Hope this helps. All the best.

Wow you are still waiting for 2nd application? 1+ year and no response? Did you order GCMS notes?Second application submitted (november 2022)

BIOC - Best interest of the child. I had a lawyer help me put the application together while I provided all supporting documents. No one knows your story and struggles more than you do, the lawyer can only advise at the end of the day. So don't just leave it up to the lawyer/immigration consultant. Do your own research and follow up everything being submitted for youCongratulations to you!
I am so happy for you.
What is the meaning of BIOC(based on your application)?
Did you apply yourself or what organization did you use?
