London TRV (Tourist Visa) - Shall I give up all hope now?

I am a third country citizen with ILR in UK. Applied to London office for visitor visa for a skiing holiday based on processing time listed on website. Biometrics submitted on 7 Feb and acknowledged on my application. Since then no news. Have filled webform twice, got generic reply to one of them. Flight is on 25/3 (48 hours’ time). My husband and kids don’t need a canada visa. The holiday is for 2 weeks - do I give up hope now?

Canada visa applications are not being considered in Uk so try to withdraw

So they won’t give decisions to people in UK till 2025. Do you know why? And why just UK people and not everywhere else?

A skiing holiday in Canada? Why don't you go somewhere closer? Germany, Austria, Switzerland? Maybe Scotland has enough snow..
