Dear everyone ,
I have already received my LMIA, my work period is2024,03-2025,03.
I am a widow, so I need to take my son with me.he just 3-year-old,so which type is proper for him. I will apply the work visa.

TRV. Hopefully you have arranged day care or are on waiting lists. Is your job 9-5, Monday to Friday because most daycares only are open during working hours.

You still have to apply and secure a WP. Your employer getting approved for an LMIA doesn’t guarantee that you will be able to get approved for a WP. You will need to apply for a TRV for your son with your WP. You will need to show that you will have the extra funds to support your child in Canada including daycare. It is very difficult to secure childcare in Canada and there can be waitlists that are over a year long. Would apply for the WP as soon as possible because processing can take up to around 6 months.
