IRCC requesting past refugee claim documents in order to finish processing spousal sponsorship.

Hi everyone I filed refugee claim in 2011, and was denied in 2013. I never left the country. I'm now married for 2yrs have been with my partner for 6yrs we have a son together . I sent my application for spousal sponsorship June of this year biometrics, medical and eligibility are all completed. I just got a request from IRCC asking for a copy of my PIF and Decision letter with reasons from my refugee claim 12 yrs ago has anyone experience this?

I applied for spousal sponsorship. Yes no status since 2013

I hope everything goes well. It’s weird they are asking for these documents. I don’t know what they are looking for. I wish the best!

Fill a new CSQ application form. You can find the form online and email it to ministerie de l’immigration
