Hello. Can I use my health card as a second document for my online citizenship application. It's expiring soon but I will send my application before the expiration that is in the next 10 days. Thank you

As long as document is valid at the time of application, you can. If it expires after application submission and processing it does not have an issue

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-0002-application-canadian-citizenship-under-subsection-5-1-adults-18-years-older.html

Photocopies of two (2) pieces of personal identification.

Examples of identification you can use include:
  • a copy of the biographical page of your passport/travel document (as requested above and also can be one (1) of your pieces of personal identification)
  • permanent resident card (PR card)
    • A PR card may only be used as personal identification if your second piece of personal identification was issued by the Canadian government (Canadian federal, provincial or territorial government-issued documents that can be used to establish identity).
  • driver’s licence
  • health insurance card
  • senior citizen identification card
  • age of majority card
  • foreign identity documents, such as a passport or government issued identification documents

What happens if the doc expires just after a few days. What day they consider, they dat the application is just sent or even processed?
