Dear team member,

My husband has 1 year of experience in Toronto Canada. We were planning to move to Alberta to apply for Alberta PNP and requested his company for transfer to the Calgary office. Will his transfer letter be considered an Alberta job offer letter while applying for PNP?

What is his NOC? What pathway? For AOS, no. For EE, it improves changes but doesn’t guarantee PR as it is based on NOC and CRS score.

NOC - 20012
Pathway - Accelerated Tech Pathway
Stream - Alberta Express Entry Stream
We are currently in Toronto and have just received the transfer letter for Alberta. The employment letter still shows the Toronto address as we have not moved yet.
We know that filling the accelerated tech pathway form will boost our chances, but is it okay to fill just based on the transfer letter received or it only makes sense when we move to Alberta.

Ask for new letter with Alberta address.

Ask for new letter with Alberta address.
Hi, sorry for multiple replies but I am literally in the same situation and my boss gave me 48 hrs to sign the new offer letter which will end tomorrow in the afternoon. My offer letter for Alberta also shows Ontario address, if I asked my employer to change it to Alberta doesn't that mean I have to be in Alberta? (I will move to Alberta next month)

Thanks in advance!

Read the link. It must be an Alberta business and address. What does not being in Alberta have to do with it?

For EE stream, you don’t need to be living in Canada.
I see. Ok I thought for accelerated tech pathway my address on the offer letter should also be an Albertas one. The reason why I thought is was because I read below in the link that you provided where if I am out of Alberta, employer has to show some efforts in advertising the job position.

“evidence the employer made reasonable efforts to fill the position with a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, as demonstrated by recruitment outcomes (federal recruitment and advertising requirements of the Temporary Foreign Worker Program will be used as a broad guideline when a nominee applicant is not already living and working in Alberta), or as pre-existing stream or pathway criteria already stipulates.”

May be I am not thinking properly and that’s why I wanted to take your advise and you are super knowledgeable.
