Hi All,

‘I applied for my wife and sons US B1/B2 visa last year Aug, got an appointment for 31st October 2023. Today I tried to log in and check the status of the DS 160 forms for both using the visa case number , I am receiving an error message as “ invalid visa case number “. It’s been long that I accessed the account.

Would appreciate if someone else has gone through this situation could guide on what to do next. Should I fill new DS160 forms? How do I map the and update the DS160 forms to the account as the account has old DS 160 numbers, also, do I need to pay again.

Have you ever submitted DS160?? If yes, you would have generated the barcodes and ds160 confirmation pages right. If you haven't submitted them then they are void after 30days and you need to fill new forms.

Hello everyone,

I have applied to a US visa renew, and got the interview waivered. I send the documents via courier on Aug 28 and I can see by Canada post it was delivered and signed. However, up to today the AIS website shows as "Send Documents" and I can check the application status on the CEAC because my surname contians "space", it shows as invalid character when I try to look up.

Does anyone know - how long is it taking with the interview waivered (I have a trip in 3 weeks and I don't have my password), secondly, if it is normal to stay on "Send Documents" even when it has already been sent, and thirdly, if there is a way for me to check the application even though my surname contains "space"?

Print the same old form and go for the appt. Have proofs available for the changes, if any.

Thanks, yes I do have the submitted DS160 copies, will print and carry them.

hi, in my DS 160 form they do not ask if my family is accompanying me. do I need to fill in separate DS 160s for each family member? then the appointment time for each one of us would be on different days, right?

Hello Everyone,

I had an interview for non-immigrant visitor visa on Sept 15th 2023 at Toronto, Visa approved on the spot, consular took the passport and ceac show Visa Approved Sept 15th 2023.

However, till date it has not been changed to issued. Could there be any reason for delays? As my friend who applied for the same visa, same day received their passport stamped back by 19th Sept.

Hello, my US visitor visa was approved on the spot on 2nd November and since then the portal shows " Approved" does anyone know how long it usually take to change the status to "Issued" or anyone in the same timeline?

They might have told you two weeks right to receive the passport. So general timeline is 2weeks to receive your passport. Last friday was a holiday. So calculate accordingly.

Hello Friends, We applied for our Parent's USA visit visa from the Quebec location on Oct-31-2023 and the officer said the visa was approved and submitted the passports. My Mother's status showed Issued and my father's show's approved. it's been more than 15 days but still, we don't have any update from the embassy yet. Does anyone know what could it lead to and processing timings? I've contacted the customer care but couldn't get any information. I'm really worried and due to emergency we have to go to India by end of this months. Any inputs are highly appreciated!

How long it took to recieve the email with the instructions to mail them? After payment mine said I’m in queue and it could take 5 weeks to get the email, is this normal?
