IEC likely to expire before Express Entry response

Hi,
I am currently in the process of applying for PR via Skilled worker Express Entry.
I will submit my application in the next 10 days.

I am currently on an IEC work holiday visa which will expire in May 2024.

So my question is, if my current visa Expires before I get the response for my Express Entry application, can I get an extension to keep working in Canada whilst waiting for the final answer on my Permanent residency application?

If not, can I still apply for another kind of work permit to keep working after my IEC is expired and until I get the Express entry response?

Once you have AOR you can apply for a bridging open work permit.

When you say you are applying for PR, I'm assuming you have already received ITA after entering the EE pool and are now submitting your full application post-ITA. Is that right?

Yes thats correct, I have received the ITA and I am now just filling out the rest of the application and collecting all the required documents that needs to be submitted with it.

Once you submit your application, you'll get AOR and you can then apply for a BOWP.
