this post is old. Many of us are canadian citizens already I believe.

Hi! Just to be clear! Did you declare your only Canadian work experience and put your foreign work experience in your personal history? My husband has 2 years and half working as Graphic Designer in Canada and he would like to declare his Canadian experience only and put his other jobs in personal history. It will be fine?

yes, it will be ok. Your husband only needs to include the jobs eh wants to claim points for. The others just put them in the personal history. Just don’t hide them, include them, in case you want to ask for points later, in case the application is rejected for any cause, and also to
Avoid misrepresentation.

Thank you so much for getting back to me!! So… did you only claim point for Canadian experience and you put your foreign work experience in personal history, right? IRCC requested you some documents for that?
I really appreciate hear from your experience! My husband is about to get an ITA.

i did a combination. No supporting evidence is required for personal history jobs. IRCC will not request anything for those ones

i provided all documents for my main or primary job like refrence letter with all duties, T4, NOA, all Paystubs. For which i claimed points.

i also think that foreign work experience does not matter because i dontget any points.

i just applied eApr on 19th August

Hi! Did you get your PR? My husband has been working as Graphic Designer for 2.5 years now in Canada and also he got nomination from BC PNP.

he would like to declare his Canadian experience and put his foreign work experience in personal history.

My question is…. Did you do the same? How was the result?
