guys i received status on BLS website that can someone help me
What is this and how to solve this

Before status was showing "Processing at Consulate General" now it changed to this one
but on Visa site it is still showing "Under Processing"

Contact them on Monday - if you can, go to the office.
I am not to confident with their tracking. 2 years ago i applied for a Entry Visa and on the site it stated "sending back to HCI" when it was just sent to BLS from there. I called and they said sometimes HCI send it to us and we again send it back. 1 hour later i received it at my door. Tracking status was entered wrong.
Sorry for your frustration though - i know how you feel. Everyone is feeling the pain.

Is it ok if i could call them or do i have to go there in person

Personally, for peace of mind, i would go personally. Take a copy of the tracking which says "contact BLS center". I would also call when standing in line. In person avoids a back and forth.

When do you think evisa's will open up? Of course us common folk have no insight - just a guesstimation

My guess is Nov 16th - few days after Diwali

I'll pass -- as my guess is too pessimistic. All the more reason to get OCI so that we can stay away from BLS.

Is this for OCI? What type of application -- OCI for minor based on parent's PIO status?

How did you stopped it and whats the process?

My wife went to BLS before 3 pm (around 1 pm) and asked to stop the dispatch.. she then collected it at 4 pm!

in Ontario, they give two birth certificates. One has parents names and other does not. check if you submitted the copy of the one with parents name listed,,.. this is needed to establish relationship with minor. along with this they need parents Indian passport copies or OCI copies (if you have one)

not so sure if it’s same for Manitoba,, but maybe check this,,, ?

Printout of application form filled online with digital photo uploaded, 1 physical photo (matching the uploaded one), Canadian passport (original), Proof of address (copy), Surrender certificate (copy). Some agents hassle you with wanting to see copy of cancelled Indian passport, so add that to the mix.

Can you skip the uploading photo and just take two photos with you for the appointment.

Has anyone successfully received an entry visa after submitting both surrender and entry visa applications simultaneously? My children's visas were approved, but my application is still showing as 'under processing.' I submitted my application on November 1st through the Toronto BLS office.

Would like know this as well.

The consulate asks for the" statement of live birth" (the "long form") as most provincial birth certificates do not have parental info by default. But one can request to include parent's names in the birth certificate. I think this option appeared a few years ago when Passport Canada started asking for documentation for parent-child relationship when parents apply for passport on behalf of children.
In any case the "long-form" or a certified copy of birth registration is the best option as that includes parent's name.

I suspect you could as uploading photo is not mandatory. But no experience.

Hi All.. went today for my entry visa appointment at BLS Brampton for a 10 am appointment for my wife and 2 minor kids.. someone scared us in the queue that I had to take 3 appointments to get minor's applications processed instead of being able to use my wife's appointment (eventually it proved to be incorrect as they processed all three applications).. for 10 am appointment we reached at 0945 however the line up was much longer (i.e. a lot of appointments being catered to it seemed).. we reached at the processing desk by 1130 am (my minors surprisingly were quiet), I had everything in order (all documents, in sequence, self attested, signed etc) and by 12.10 pm I was done for all three applications.. BLS lady on the counter was really nice and made is very easy.. now waiting for visas to be issued, fingers crossed

The status for 3 applications is now "In Transit from BLS Centre to Consulat General"

Finally I picked my passport with entry visa stamp from BLS at 8am and now I am travelling tomorrow

Thank you allllllll for your advices for listening to me for my cries and just being patient with me n guiding..
