TRV - Eligibility and Background Verification

Called today to know if the file is in NDVO .Agent said my primary office is Edmonton, and the secondary is Delhi . The file has been transferred from New Delhi. She has put a note to expedite as India's processing time line for TRV which is 29 days has surpassed.

Applied visitor visa of spouse from canada on 19 september, everytging is completed by 17 oct, but tracker shows background in progess, no passport request today is 42 day of waiting, orocessing time is 29 days,

Hey all,

I have my application for sponsorship for my spouse in progress. Once I received the UCI.

I used it to apply for the Visitor Visa - TRV (Spouse) on October 5, 2023.

The biometrics were submitted as part of the Sponsorship application on October 20, 2023.

The biometrics were marked as completed on October 23, 2023.

Presently both Background Check and Eligibility are in progress status.

Visa Office has been assigned as London, UK.

The average processing time for Pakistan is 54 days according to the IRCC website at present.

Just waiting at this time. Hoping for ideal situation/timeline without setting any expectations.

I'm here in UK. I have applied on 27th Sep till now no updates. Another friend who applied on 4th Sep and status remain same no update at all. I guess currently processing time is 83 days in UK.

I have applied for TRV on Sept 29 as well but without AOR from sponsorship, just mentioned in the LOE that application submitted .I believe they are intentionally holding TRV files until applicants go through R10 completeness check for spousal application, which I have submitted on Sept 26 .

For TRV - Only BGC in progress

So you later submitted the AOR from spousal application?
Did you eligibility completed after submiting AOR ?
