URGENT - US police certificate help

Hi folks, I live in Canada and my husband is US resident. He got his US police certificate last month. He is visiting me now, meaning he left US for travelling after got the US police certificate. In this case, is his US police certificate still valid if I submit the application today?

just submit it and if they have a problem they will ask you for a new one. doubtful as our two countries likely share that information
