I am waiting for so many years. I anxiously wait every morning, every time this 2020 draw started to get the golden email but it doesn't come. 23rd is the last day, just one day left for hope. After this year is completed, we have another year - 2024 for which I really think that Govt should pick up from 2020 draw. Liberal Govt has been easy with immigration rules but dont know what will happen afterwards. I hope my dream to have my parents with me permanently comes soon!
Most likely in 2024, they still pick from 2020 pool, since IRCC mentioned need clean the backlog. but we dont know how many will picked.

Out of 23 K people who was suppose to get invite , may be 5-10 % are member of this Forum .
It does not prove anything.

Out of 10% many members are not active always

good luck
Mathematically, no matter what your assumption is, the distribution should be even. So if the invite of the 1st week is actively posted in this forum, this week should be NO difference! However, the fact is that much fewer are posted here this week compared to the last week.

Thus, the invites are mostly sent in the 1st week, whereas much less are sent in the 2nd. Many people like me witnessed this in 2021 and 2022 as well. You cannot fight against math. Cheers! Period : P

We got invitation on oct 16,2023, i have question its me and my spouse and we have my 2 parents so total family size of 4 and we have met income for 2020,2021 and for 2022 my income is $2k and my spouse is my cosigner and her income for 2022 is over 100k, so means we are good right? plz help @skyellla @Naturgrl @CEC_1304
If your sposue is the cosigner, as long as the combined income is more than the minimum income requirement amount, it's fine.
Doesn't matter who made more (sponsor or cosigner)

I am fortunate enough to receive my parents and my in-laws invitation from the same pool of 2020 :)
I received invitation for my parents back in Oct 2021 - they got PR in Dec 2022.
Now my spouse received invitation for my in-laws in Oct 2023.

I am not an expert but have great experience with the PGP PR process and will try to help this batch.

Good luck everyone!

Are you sure about combined income? I think individually both sponsor and cosignor needs to meet the LICO requirements. Combined income won’t work. I have read this in IRCC website.

Does your NOAs each year combine to make LICO? Is your spouse willing to co-sign and take on the 20 year responsibility? If so, you are eligible.

This is wrong. The income is combined. Both the sponsor and cosigner do not need to meet LICO individually. They just need to meet it in combination.

Yes you are good assuming your income is 200k and not 2k
No mine income for 2022 is 2k n mine spouse is 100 k n our total family size is 5 and LICO requirement is 83k for 2022 and our both combined income is 102k for 2022, seems like we are good right ?

You are eligible since spouse is willing to co-sign with income.
