Hello, I hope you are well.

I have a brother who is an international professional athlete and is also a self-employed coach.

Question: Should a file be submitted on the basis of an international athlete or a coach?

Or is it possible to apply to both, one at a time?

Thanks.

What program is he applying for? If for self employment PR post under Business Immigration. he selects one NOC where he is self employed and makes his money, as he needs to show that he is self sufficient without getting a job. He shows his income and business plan to be self sufficient. The self employment program selects only around 800 per year and takes 3 years to process.

Thanks for the reply. The program is Immigrate as a self-employed person.

How long does it take to process?
Can he apply to a program with two majors? (Athlete/ Coach sport).

Why would he spend thousands of dollars and all the time to compile documentation for two NOCs? Pick one. Processing is around 56 months. Very few applications are accepted for a few hundred spots. He wants a strong business plan showing that he can support himself in Canada as an elite athlete or coach and that he will make a significant contribution to the sport.
