Are they always require to do the fingerprints? When they do? Before or after the test? Also, can you get done fingerprinting outside of Canada and send them online or by mail? Thanks.

Fingerprints are not requested for every applicant. I didn't get fingerprint request, but my spouse got when we were outside Canada. As far as I know, you can do test outside Canada but not the fingerprints. My spouse submitted it when we returned to Canada. Usually they give 50 or 60(don't remember how many days exactly) days to submit the fingerprints.

He got the request in December and he gave fingerprints in Jan. There are no too many steps, you just have to provide fingerprinting through any third party that's it.

Actually there are people who has done fingerprinting from India. I am not sure where you are located though. But in case if you would be back to Canada by the due date they have mentioned, it would be easier
