Low CRS score for Express Entry

Hello All,

I am married and am currently working full-time in Canada with Shared Health Manitoba since more than a year. Shared Health Manitoba is a genuine employer. I completed my masters from Calgary from September 2019 to December 2021. Hence I received a 3 years of post graduate/open work permit.

I have already created an express entry profile but my CRS score is only 440 which does not satisfies minimum score for any current round of invitation. Although I have checked my answers several times to various sections in express entry I am still doubtful if I correctly answered for questions under 'Intended Work in Canada'. I am not getting scores for job offer in Canada (shown below). Not sure why. Since my work permit is post graduated work permit, it does not mentions any specific employer and my offer letter does not mentions any NOC. Although my job role does matches with NOC 21222 - Information System Specialist. Can anyone please advice me on how to increase my scores? I will be happy to provide additional information if needed.

You only qualify for job offer points if your employer gets an approved LMIA. Are they willing to do that?

My job does not needs any LMIA I guess. I work full- time as Geographic Information Systems Specialist with Shared Health Manitoba. It is highly reputed well- paid job which also matches NOC 21222 and falls under Teer 1. Also my job offer does not mention any NOC which I guess it falls under LMIA exempted job. Do I still need an LMIA to get points for job offer OR can I fall under employees who are exempted from LMIA?

All of this is irrelevant.

You cannot claim job offer points on an open work permit unless your employer obtains an approved LMIA. This is why you are not scoring the 50 points. Your Express Entry profile points calculation is correct. Once again, your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA if you want to claim the 50 job offer points on an open work permit.
