Happened to me Friday last week. Then had a ghost update the following day.

I got the same error message. In my case, the issue came from "Website certificate revoked". I deleted CRL and OCSP Cache following the instructions at https://support.globalsign.com/ssl/general-ssl/delete-crl-and-ocsp-cache, then all is fine. Further info.: https://support.eset.com/en/kb6258-website-certificate-revoked-is-displayed-when-visiting-legitimate-web-pages
