Yes. The kids and I have. Spouse was asked for a note from Nephrologist. No CKD and we ran a battery of other tests too & they all came back normal.
Our Nephrologist did give a note and we will go back to the Panel Physician in 2 weeks from now. In the meanwhile dietary and lifestyle changes have been made and we hope this too shall pass
It sounds like you're doing everything you can.

Your spouse must pass the medical in order for the application to be approved. There is no way around that.

No update yet & no inward communication to us either. So guess IRCC is still processing the results. Called an agent & they said everything has been received and no new requests have been made to us or Immigration medical center yet. The agent also commented that it appears as if the Visa officer has not yet looked at the reports - Not sure how to interpret this.

We have not received any emails from IRCC advising us to go visit the Panel Physician either [as was received the first time furtherance was requested]

There is backlog or medicals needing to be reviewed. The medical information needs to be reviewed by an IRCC physician to evaluate the cost of care within the next 5-10 months and whether even more medical information is neended. There was also the strike so that likely delayed processing by a few weeks.

Thank you for the response.
Mar 28th is when they received everything. So I am thinking 8-10 weeks of time is fair given the delay. I will stay on top of this and see how things progress.

Given the strike it may be longer. All you can do is wait. There is no use in contacting IRCC, your MP IRCC customer arrive until you have been waiting for much longer than others in a similar position. Hiring a lawyer to respond to a PFL is also a good idea.

Yes. I do not plan on calling IRCC anymore. Will wait to see what comes out & if I am slapped with a PFL, I will hire someone is my plan too

Sometimes there's a bring forward date when additional information is requested for an application. The bring forward date is the date the IRCC officer will pick up the application again to review it after an additional information request has been made. So it's possible that they attached a bring forward date to your application after the additional information request (I'm assuming you received one) and that date hasn't been reached, which means the officer hasn't looked at your application again yet.

Thank you for the perspective Scylla. We received the note from IRCC on Mar 21 [email from New Delhi Visa Office - As spouse is in India [dependent on the PR Application]] asking us to meet Panel Physician & there was an ask for a Nephrologist Note which we provided on Mar 26th & on Mar 28th Immigration Medical Center uploaded all the reports which we shared. This was confirmed by the IRCC Agent too after looking at both Inward & Outward correspondences.

I have heard of the BFD concept when I applied TRV's for family during Covid - But in this case, I am not aware of a date if there was one and also unsure if an agent would be able to see it.

So may be the date for this application was set to 2 months from the time the request was sent for additional info
Mar 21 - May 21 [Random guess]
And now the officer is probably reviewing it

Cutting the chase, as Canuck also mentioned in the earlier comment - Waiting is the way forward.

I honestly chalk up very little to what the IRCC agents say. They can only see limited details and sometimes the info they give is way off. I'm not sure they'd be able to see a BFD if one was applied.

You're right. It's a waiting game at this point. Good luck.
