Still nothing past AOR on jul 7 and background check completion on jul 17. At this point I’m thinking it might even be returned or something cause this is just ridiculous.
I totally get your frustration, I am in the same boat too. Waiting for updates can be incredibly frustrating, and it seems like everyone else is moving ahead while we're stuck in limbo. But here's the thing: the posts you see here are just a small piece of the puzzle. Most people only share the good news, making it look like things are moving faster than they really are in general. The way IRRC works seems to be all over the place for most of us. It's confusing, it's maddening, and it feels totally random. Waiting is tough, but it's all we can do for now.

My understanding is that once you are past AOR there are few chances that the application gets returned.

The IRCC processing times are a bit unpredictable. I know my application happens to be moving fast. But a slower processing time doesn't mean that there is anything particularly wrong with your application

I truly agree with the Good news part. The picture is much wider than it looks. Not everyone shares their bitter experiences.

Hi my name is Hardeep from Brampton. I applied online for citizenship on June 13,2023. They asked for background verification in July 25 and after 2 days they sent a citizenship test email. I gave test on august 23 and next day they updated status as completed. On august 31, they updated status that they received fingerprints information and they will review them shortly. Afterwards nothing changed..only citizenship test status show completed other things are still in progress even background verification, language, physical presence..so frustrating

Nothing to worry about. My wife's timeline is similar to yours. I presume, your immigration office is Scarborough as well. They are behind all other immigration offices.

I have given my citizenship test on 8 oct ; waiting to get it validated. I have a trip planned outside Canada: Do we have to inform Immigration about this?

My neighbor completed oath in September, submitted application in April end. Processing office was Scarborough. By now June applicants should have received oath invite but still taking time. Mississauga office is quite efficient but we are stuck with Scarborough office. Anyone here who got oath from Scarborough?
