Im really confused about the income requirements.

What is the previous income are the requirements? is it from 2019 or starting 2020?


Here's my annual not including my wife. Sponsoring Mom and Dad. no kids yet.

2022 - $53K
2021 - $51K
2020 - $53K
2019 - $49K

Am i Qualified? always on night shift, limited time to go online.

IRCC hasn't posted this information yet to the best of my knowledge so I don't think anyone can answer your question. You will need to include your wife in the LICO count. You can include her income if she is willing to co-sponsor.

Since you have had your mom’s name in the pool since 2020, then hopefully it is her year. If selected, she has to pass the medical so hopefully her medical issues are not serious.

While I do wish you and everyone else the best - the reality is we're all in the same boat.

Everyone has health concerns to varying degrees about their aging parents.

I came to Canada in 2002 if you can believe that! Been a PR since 2011. Pay an absurd amount of money in taxes.

Income requirement has been updated. Seems they added 30% back to the requirement.

Increase was expected as lower LICO for 2020 and 2021 was due to Covid. Also cannot include EI, CERB and other Covid benefits for 2023.

Information has been posted. See link below. Your 2022 income alone is insufficient so your wife would need to co-sign (assuming she is working and makes enough income).

It should be but did not heard anything from anyone, may be soon good luck to all of us who are waiting from 2020 or more then that and who are eligible.
