Doctor with Non-Specialized Experience - How to Apply?

hi. i am doctor. i have done MBBS, one year house job, 4 years FCPS training in RADIOLOGY (but only cleared part 1) (in essence i have resident training in RADIO but didn't appear in exam). i have also done successful evaluation from Medical Council of Canada. however as I was creating my Express Entry profile. the most suitable NOC that appeared to me was:

31102 – General practitioners and family physicians ( https://noc.esdc.gc.ca/Structure/NocProfile?objectid=JXMPgGsOoWSDXEOPeyjbZPafUNsUNaEm63czmR4WjuQ= )

the page says:


"........EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

.........

• Graduation from an approved medical school and two to three years of family medicine residency training are required......."

now I am really confused. with my profile (where I am only considering myself a simple doctor with MBBS degree and general experience if any) 31102 only makes sense, but it also requires specialised training of of family medicine?

can someone please throw light?

i mean i can't apply as specialist. but i don't see as how can I apply as simple doctor? i mean, how would someone who has degree and general experience would apply?

apply with your MBBS,,, you will get maximum points for your education,,, with FCPS there are no extra points.. get your experience letters according to the format and you are good to go

i should show experience of FCPS as general experience, right?

you can mention the specialty no issue,,, and ask for letter according IRCC specifications,,, i wrote a exp letter according to job description and asked my HR to print on official hospital Letter head and get it signed from my HOD… i was in same boat didn’t finish my part 2 exam..

You mean, I should mention my designation as TMO (Trainee Medical Office) but classify the experience as 31120 (General practitioner and family physician) in Express Entry profile, right?

Also, if I may know, did you get ITA?

hello saani. it has been long time and there has been some progress. since you had profile like mine and guided on these lines also so i am coming back to you for guidance.

i received NOI on March 7 from OINP. my NOC is "GP and Family Physician.

below are my actual experiences:

1: House Job: 1-Aug-16...to...31-Jul-17
2: Trainee Medical Officer in Radiology: 1-Jan-18...to...20-Apr-22
4: Ultrasonologist in Hospital ABC : May 2022...to...May 2023
5: Ultrasonologist in XYZ Clinic: Oct 2022...to...Present

I have/had put 1 and 2 ONLY in EE and thus only claimed points for that and subsequently received NOI from Ontario on that bases. I have obtained experience letters accordingly in which my duites are mentioned accordingly.

this all is fine. however now applying in OINP, they also require CV. I am really confused how to put my designatinon and responsibilities for experiences 2 and 3. should i just show as Ultrasonologist? should i just skip (this may come under falsification)? or should i show them as GP?

I am from India. Can I show my 1 year compulsory internship as work experience?
