What was the stated reason for refusal? Had she been refused before? What did she show to return back to India?I was just rejected for a supervisa for my mother-in-law. It seems that I did not provide enough proof that my mother-in-law would return back to India. Can anyone suggest based on their own experiences how they showed this for their parents?
Order GCMS/ATIP notes to see full explanation for refusal. Super-visas are still visitor visas so IRCC will ask for some reason to return. Does she have property or a pension? She passed the medical and had a year of insurance? It states the following:
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada based on the following factor:
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.
It is not clear to me how they can infer this given that it is a Supervisa and the stay tends to be longer than one through a regular visa. We stated in the application that my mother-in-law is a housewife.
I am just not sure how to address this in another application.
Order ATIP notes, and see officer’s notes on reason. She does not have any property or a pension. She passed the medical and she has the medical insurance. She also got her fingerprints done. I am not sure how to address this requirement.
Her husband will be staying behind in the home country as well as she has substantial financial assets such as bondsHow would you be able to prove that a housewife from India will return to their home country?
Each case is different therefore samples dont really work, however, the format would include background information, eligibility and a conclusion. You might have to add additional details if relevant.I just made a request for ATIP on this file. Can anyone suggest any sample good super visa applications? I am looking for sample invitation letters and guidance on what documents to submit for each of the requirements. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Your spouse's mother should be the person showing.Does this mean that the invitation letter should be sent by my wife who is a Canadian Citizen? I attached my financial information in support of the application. Is this allowed? I provided my employment details, salary, and financial information. Is this prohibited by the law? Should it be my wife's financial details that should be included? I realize that all the cases are different but I want more guidance on what to include as part of the documents to prove things like the issue of relationship. Thanks again for your help.
Hello, here are the acceptable documents you can provide for the income. I believe choose one of them. Although you can provide 2 if you want just to be in the safe side:It says the following:
proof that your child or grandchild’s household meets the minimum necessary income,
By household, this would mean our family income is correct. I am currently the only person in the family that works. Therefore, to show household income I will have to attach my financial details correct? I can also show our joint bank account details correct?
