Anyone in this group still waiting for Background, or LPP? I applied for my son in April. Got AOR on May 12th and nothing after that. Curious to see if anyone is going through the same

Waiting since test completion on June 28th. Very frustrating.

OATH ceremony for kids and wife on Wednesday 27th, and I already downloaded today their e-certificates. The journey is done for them.. On my side, still stuck in BG check

Online application from Vancouver, Submitted on May 12 and received AOR on June 5th.Took the test on July 10th (without ever receiving the email). Updated to complete on July 13th and silence since then. BG is still in progress alongside LPP.
I am hoping that it is a glitch on their site and my BG is actually completed! Maybe everything will turn green magically one day!
I sent a webform this week. We'll see in about a month I guess!

I am in the same boat. Most likely they will send you a FP request. I raised a webform two weeks back and got FP request last week..

same story... I got a FP request in June followed by a citizenship test email in a few days. Everything seemed to go well until then. Submitted my fingerprints immediately and IRCC is still waiting for my fingerprint results from RCMP. BGC and LPP in progress with no updates since July!

same story... I got a FP request in June followed by a citizenship test email in a few days. Everything seemed to go well until then. Submitted my fingerprints immediately and IRCC is still waiting for my fingerprint results from RCMP. BGC and LPP in progress with no updates since July!

that is weird, typically sending the FP (from RCMP to IRCC) is around 2-3 weeks if there is no match in their database.. Even though at this point they may have forgotten to resume the application too. In my case, they only reacted each time I sent webforms...

I have sent multiple webform emails, called IRCC too.. all they say is we got confirmation that you submitted the fingerprints to RCMP but we did not get the results yet or something to that effect. RCMP replied that they sent my results on 13th July. I fear that the results were misplaced or something.

at this point I am not surprised. We (me, my wife and two kids) submitted a paper application together as a family (same enveloppe). They returned only mine because I forgot to sign the last page, and since then they have split the applications (me on one side and my wide and kids on the other). I called multiple times and they reassured me that despite being separated, they would wait for all to be completed to have the oath ceremony together. Guess what? Today I downloaded the citizenship certificates for my wife and kids, whereas I am still stuck in BG... lol

This is so frustrating! I am sorry! I wonder if you could provide another fingerprint?! Has anyone ever done that?

LPP still in progress... However, today the tracker says:

Interview required - You've been scheduled to attend an interview with our official on October 27, 2023. Information and instructions will be sent to you.

Please let me know if anyone has seen this or knows what this "interview" is all about !?!?! My spouse has the same exact update but the kids trackers are not updated.

Happy that there is some movement at least !

From what I heard they just ask items that's already in your application, confirming the details etc. A lot of people get their LPP finished after the interview.
