Hi All,

Hope everyone is doing good.
I would like to have some advice on the below:

--I am on Open work permit and currently working on contract for a Canadian Company. Now Canadian Company is planning to give me permanent offer for the position.

--Can I apply for OINP? if yes then do I need to file both OINP and Express Entry at the same time or there is a sequence.

--My spouse being primary applicant he is also planning to file Express entry so can we both file 2 express entry and be in the pool?

Thanks!

OINP job offer stream, both foreign worker and international student, are non-EE PNPs.

Once you have the job offer, you can create a profile in the OINP portal and wait for the OINP draw. Check with your employer if they are willing to do paper works to support your application. OINP requires the employer form for job offer stream.

You can apply for both non-EE and EE. Only downside is you pay both fees.

Thank you for the valuable response. So basically first I need to apply OINP after getting employer support confirmation and once it is picked then I need to proceed for EE. However also there is a option to submit both at the same time - hope I got it right.

One more question is when we say employer support what exactly we are referring to and is it ok that employer will agree to those ?

You need employer support before applying. For OINP, your employer needs to be eligible and be willing to support your nomination by filling out the employer form. Some employers will not fill out the paperwork or provide the information that OINP asks for. Ask your employer to read the employer guide and fill out the form and provide required information.

I tried to check OINP employer form and it looks like complete form is not found - any idea where we can find the complete form without filling so that it will be easy to check with the employer on the information to be provided. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
As mentioned I am on Open Work Permit and the company for which I am working on contract offers permanent position for OINP under which category I have to submit

Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream or Ontario's Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream

And also per some You tube videos they say language test is not required for OINP - Please advise.

EE HSW is based on your CRS score and NOC, not a job offer. FWS is based on your job offer and you employer needs to read the guide, be eligible and fill out the employer forms. It is based on scoring factors.

For EE, you need IELTS and for FWS you get points for higher IELTS scores. See if your FSW score is high enough with your job offer to be invited.

I am a 31-year-old man, married with three children. I want to seek refuge in Canada because life in my country is very difficult. My source of income is insufficient, so I ask you to help me save my children and provide them with a better life. Or a work permit

You are posting in the wrong section. If you want to claim asylum, you all need visitor visas (show funds, ties to home country, travel history) and when you enter Canada you claim asylum. You show the persecution against your family with police, medical reports, emails, letters, photos etc. If you want to immigrate then look at the IRCC site and research economic immigration programs. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship.html
