Hello, I'm planning a trip to Canada with my spouse to visit my sister. I'm going to be applying for a TRV. My sister has PR status in Canada. For the purpose of my trip to Canada should I select family visit or tourism? It seems like the definition of 'family' that I've seen published by the Canadian government is more for parents, children, dependents, etc. It's unclear to me based on what I've read whether it captures siblings. I'm leaning towards selecting family visit because it just seems like the logical choice and I may be overthinking this but wondering if anyone has any thoughts? Thank you!

Get an invitation letter from your sister. If your sister mentioned welcome to visit her, then select "family visit". If not but just you go sightseeing landmarks such Lake Louise, then select "tourism".
