Address Change on PR Card Renewal Application

Hello House!
I submitted my PR Card Renewal Application online on 9th July 2023. The status is submitted still. However the current address where I live unfortunately I have to vacate after lease end which is September End.

If my card comes before that great if not how do I update IRCC about address change? As per recent posts, the applications are processed in 95days.. which I complete on 7-8 October but by then I will be living in another house as my lease ends September 31st. I haven't found new house yet hence don't have new address handy.

Any guidance on how to be prepared for address change request.
1. Provide Friend' Address via Phone/Webform
2. Any other option?

What province do you live? Landlords in my province usually serve tenant at least couple months notice to end tenancy. In your case, you submited the online application on July 9, so you didn't know you have to vacate your unit at that time. I suggest you read the tenancy agreement again or seek information with your tenancy board.

I've also seen recent post that said after 6 months, still no signs of the delivery of the PR card.

Hello @steaky .. Thank you for your reply. I live in Alberta and usually it's two months notifice period for lease renewal/end.. And our lease end notice which i got to know in August.. as August & September is notice period.. but I had submitted my application in July.. didn't expect such an abrupt lease end..

Just wanted to post an update on my application.

Today I received my renewed PR Card before I leave this home as it came before my lease end..which is due this month end.

I did raise an address change via Webform two days before but all good now.

Here is my timeline


App Submitted: 9th July
Mode: Online Application
PR Card Received in Mail: 19 September
Total Days Taken: 70
No update on online application nor I was able to connect the app in gckey.
